Engagement Session at Cedar Hill Texas State Park

I loved photographing these two beautiful people! Not only are they extremely pretty, but they are super sweet too! I could photograph Cori again and again because she is such a natural beauty! Oh wait! I get to at least 3 more times! My favorite part about engagement sessions is how well you get to know the couple. One thing I learned is Clark likes to fish. Cori doesn’t care much for fishing but because she loves Clark she made part of the session all about fishing. I also know Clark loves Cori enough not to bring line for the fishing pole so he stays focused on Cori and our portrait session. Now if that’s not love, I don’t know what is!

This first picture was me checking my lighting and Cori looking amazing. After this “test” shot I knew this was going to be an awesome session!

Dallas Arts District Engagement Session

I have had the privilege of being friends with Laura and Blake before they became clients. When I received a text message minutes after Blake proposed on a beach in southern California, I squealed with delight. Now their wedding is just a few weeks away and I can’t wait to see all the details that Laura has talked about for months finally come to life.

Beautiful Texas Ranch Engagement Session

I love nothing more than when a bride and groom use team work to make for a great engagement session! Rubin came up with the locations, which I loved, and Ashton came up with some ideas to pull their look together along with a cute idea for their save the dates. This time of year yields a very short “magic hour” for photographers, and Rubin and Ashton waited patiently with me until the light was just right. (Thank you Rubin and Ashton.) I loved getting to know this couple a little better as we waited for the sun to fall just right in the sky. They are both very sweet and down to earth people that I know are going to have an awesome marriage. Below is a little sneak peek of their engagement session.
