Fort Worth Engagement Session on Magnolia Avenue

Melissa and Brian are our kind of people. Once we started chatting about locations for their engagement session I knew we would have a fun time together. As you all know, we are located on the coolest street in the city, Magnolia Avenue. Melissa and Brian love frequenting the restaurants on Magnolia and the more we chatted and the more they brought up the new coffee house/pub called Brewed, we realized we had to shoot there! Lucky for us Jana has been friends with one of the owners for a very long time so we called in a little favor and asked if we could shoot there. We just love the vibe at Brewed and we feel like it complimented the vibe of Melissa and Brian perfectly. Here are a few pictures of our shoot along Magnolia Avenue and inside the hottest coffee shop/pub/eatery on the street!

We had so much fun getting to know Brian and Melissa and can’t wait to see Melissa in her wedding gown for her bridals! Oh and you if you haven’t tried Brewed yet, you have to! Duck-fat fries, I’m just sayin’.

Leigh Ellen and Carlos: Engagement Portraits

Today is the day Leigh Ellen and Carlos say “I do!” and we just wanted to share a few photos from their engagement session. We started at the Melrose Hotel in Dallas with a little Mad Men inspiration. Our second location was Addison Circle and included Carlos’ bike, their cute pup and beautiful light! It was a perfect day and I know today will be amazing! Congratulations Leigh Ellen and Carlos!

TCU Love.

Meet Kristen and Greg. During our shoot Kristen teased Greg that he came to play ball at TCU because he said Texas girls were pretty. Pretty is an understatement if we are talking about Kristen. Not only are they both super talented athletes (Greg plays baseball and Kristen plays volleyball) but they are super sweet too! I always tell prospective clients that engagement sessions are a good way to get to know your photographer (me), and I am so glad I have gotten to know Kristen and Greg. I had such a great time photographing these two!

I have shot at the stockyards fairly often, but never in a bar. We were lucky enough to shoot in a bar that they frequent and had the whole place to ourselves. They love to dance so they showed me some of their moves.

Greg, I think you found more than a pretty girl here in Texas. Kristen is also kind, supportive and such a positive person. (Her family seems pretty awesome as well!)

Kristen, I can’t wait to photograph you in your dress! You are going to make a beautiful bride! I also think you found a really great guy. Not every groom goes as above and beyond as Greg did during our session and I could tell he was doing it all to make you happy.
