Whitney and Ian get married at Ashton Gardens

We have enjoyed photographing Whitney and Ian for the past year with an engagement session, bridal session and now their wedding! They had a wonderful day at Ashton Gardens in Corinth Texas. If you are in the North Texas area and are looking for the perfect venue to say “I do.” you have to check out Ashton Gardens. Not only is it beautiful but the staff takes great care of their bride and groom! We enjoy photographing weddings in the natural light their gorgeous chapel provides.

Dallas Wedding at Holy Trinity and Warwick Hotel

We’ve enjoyed getting to know Leigh Ellen and Carlos over the past year. The one thing I think of when I think of the two of them is how much they smile at one another. They both have smiles that can light up the room. Their wedding ceremony was at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and their reception was at the Warwick Melrose Hotel in Dallas. These locations made for a very elegant and timeless event. We loved the classic look of their wedding and know Leigh Ellen and Carlos will enjoy their photos for a lifetime. You can also see their engagement session here.

Carlos and Leigh Ellen opted for “first look” before the wedding. We highly recommend this if you are getting married in the winter months. If you plan an evening wedding during the months of November through February,  more than likely it will be dark after your wedding. If we get the chance to do a “first look” we can ensure you will have beautiful natural portraits on your wedding day.

Fort Worth Engagement Session on Magnolia Avenue

Melissa and Brian are our kind of people. Once we started chatting about locations for their engagement session I knew we would have a fun time together. As you all know, we are located on the coolest street in the city, Magnolia Avenue. Melissa and Brian love frequenting the restaurants on Magnolia and the more we chatted and the more they brought up the new coffee house/pub called Brewed, we realized we had to shoot there! Lucky for us Jana has been friends with one of the owners for a very long time so we called in a little favor and asked if we could shoot there. We just love the vibe at Brewed and we feel like it complimented the vibe of Melissa and Brian perfectly. Here are a few pictures of our shoot along Magnolia Avenue and inside the hottest coffee shop/pub/eatery on the street!

We had so much fun getting to know Brian and Melissa and can’t wait to see Melissa in her wedding gown for her bridals! Oh and you if you haven’t tried Brewed yet, you have to! Duck-fat fries, I’m just sayin’.
